普段あまり新撰組をみないけど、『壬生義士伝』には泣かされました。武士の「義」を貫くというのはとても重たいもので、家族のために生きていたいと願う主人公の吉村寛一朗でも、幕末で新撰組が国賊とされて官軍の銃弾の中に突進する場面は印象的でした。

ちなみに、原作のほうがもっと泣けます。
